All Marie Curie researchers are invited to join the Marie Curie Alumni Association. MCAA membership is open to any beneficiary of funding under any of the schemes of the European Commission’s Marie Curie programme. This includes past or current participants or coordinators in Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions: ITN, IF, RISE, COFUND, NIGHT, as well as similar schemes from previous framework programmes.

Currently, over 50000 researchers have benefited from Marie Curie programme, and the number of MCAA members approaches 9000. Since Marie Curie Actions encourage international and cross-sectoral mobility, MCAA members are a unique community in terms of its diversity, interdisciplinarity and international experience, combined with scientific excellence and international competitiveness.

In order to join MCAA, only cost-free registration at is required. MCAA aims to increase the visibility of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions programme and the career potential of its alumni. Membership in MCAA enables researchers to participate in networking events, build skills and promote their research. The MCAA web portal offers services such as on-line directory to seek out members, topical working groups, blogs, newsletters and job opportunities.

MCAA members connected to Poland are warmly encouraged to join the Polish Chapter, established in 2017. The Polish Chapter aims to fulfill the goals of MCAA with particular attention to Polish scientific and funding landscape, as well as to enhance networking between MCAA members in Poland.
