“European Innovation Council (EIC) – a new opportunity for Polish industry in Horizon 2020” is the title of the event organized by the National Contact Point for Research Programmes in Poland of the European Union.

The event will take place on April 12, 2018 at the Centre of Creativity – Centrum Kreatywności Targowa in Warsaw, Targowa 56 Street.

The European Innovation Council (EIC) is a new initiative of the European Commission, which points to support the most promising European innovators. Funds from Horizon 2020 Framework Programme will be allocated to support this initiative. EIC is aimed to be one of the pillars of the new framework program after 2020.

The aim of the event will be to present the concept and offer of the European Innovation Council for the years 2018-2020 to the representatives of Polish industry, public and local government administration and all interested parties. The EIC offer will be complemented by the presentation of the offer of national instruments enabling the use of synergy mechanisms, e.g. the Seal of Excellence mechanism and solutions adopted in selected operational programmes.

The event will also serve as a detailed discussion about individual instruments, demonstration of best practices – projects that have been successful and presenting the experience of evaluators. Participants will learn the rules of applying for funding from the framework programmes, as well as practical tips related to this topic. They will also have the opportunity to exchange good practices and experience.
