The conference “Instruments of Industry 4.0“, https://industryweek.pl/instrumenty-przemyslu-4-0/ , which will open the doors on November 6, 2018 at the Exhibition Center PTAK EXPO in Nadarzyn near Warsaw. The conference is organized as part of the “Warsaw Industry Week” Fair, 6-8 November 2018, https://industryweek.pl/ , the event of which last year’s edition gathered over 380 exhibitors and 10,000 visitors.
The event was honored with the patronage of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology and the Minister Jadwiga Emilewicz announced her address at the Opening Ceremony.
The National Contact Point for Research Programmes of the European Union (KPK PB UE) is a partner of this Conference, preparing the panel “Industry 4.0 in the European Union Framework Programmes”. The panel will be moderated by Professor Edward Chlebus (Wrocław University of Technology), with the contribution from Jurgen Tiedje – Head of Unit Advanced Manufacturing at DG RTD, European Commission and Riikka Virkkunen, Digitalising Industries Manager, VTT, Finland, a member of the Board of Directors of EFFRA.
The discussion will be focused on the following issues:
- Industry 4.0 in Horizon 2020 – public-private partnerships as the basic method of program implementation;
- Participation of small and medium enterprises in H2020 projects and participation support system – the role of the National Contact Points;
- Synergies between funding programs and thematic areas.
The conference will also be an opportunity to present the achievements of projects implemented under the Framework Programme Horizon 2020: ICP4Life – regarding IT solutions for resource management) and INCLUSIVE – a project that develops technologies of cooperation between humans and the robot.
The conference is addressed to stakeholders involved in development of industrial technologies (Industry 4.0), primarily small and medium-sized enterprises.
